Yolanda L. Lewis, currently the administrator for the Clayton County courts, has been selected to be the new administrator for the Fulton County Superior Court. She is scheduled to take over for current Administrator Judy Cramer sometime in early October, according to Fulton court spokesman Don Plummer.

According to a Fulton Superior press release, Lewis has been in Clayton County since April 2008, where she oversees both the superior and state courts. Fulton County, by far the largest circuit in the state, has separate administrators for each court. Lewis as served as an assistant administrator at the Georgia Administrative Office of the Courts, a planner with the Governor’s Justice Coordinating Council and as a programming coordinator for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in Mobile, Alabama.

Cramer announced her plans to step down in May after 13 years overseeing operations at Fulton Superior to pursue a career in the ministry.
